LTC/BTC Exchange Rates More More or Less the Same (Usually within 1%)
We noticed that LTC/BTC exchange rates were higher at LTCGear.com in the beginning in September and early October, but since then, they were better on BTC-e.com (with the exception of November 7th payout).
The difference was small, usually less than 1%, with the exception of a couple of dates (September 26th payout, when rates at LTCGear were better, and November 14th payout when rates at BTC-e.com was better).
BTC-e.com Had Better Rates for 5 of the Past 9 Weeks
It should be noted that while the LTCGear's exchange rate is accurate (taken from their Farm Payments page), BTC-e.com's rate is always fluctuating, so the LTC/BTC rate could be different from the exchange rates above depending on the time you receive your payouts or when you actually exchange your funds.
That said, of the past 9 weeks, BTC-e.com has had better rates than LTCGear.com for 5 of the 9 weeks, although usually by a small margin of less than 1%. So, it's fair to say that rates at BTC-e.com were better (for the past 9 weeks), but only by a small margin.
Ultimately, it's your call whether to go with BTC-e.com and do the exchange yourself (make sure to count transaction fees in moving LTC and BTC in and out of BTC-e.com).

Historically LTC/BTC rate has spiked along with the Bitcoin price hike. if you look at 2013 April and November, you can see LTC/BTC rates suddenly shot up north of 0.03 BTC, which is 3 times the current rates!
Based on these past trends, it's likely that the next time we see a speculative price appreciation with Bitcoin (which we are convinced WILL happen based on past chart trends), LTC/BTC exchange rate will also suddenly go up.
Although past trends are not guarantee for future performance, charts tend to follow a pattern, and they can tell a lot about what's to come!
