This week's payout arrived late, at around 06:00 UTC on Saturday, November 29th, 2014 (technically a 6-hour delay) due to Black Friday Sales that were taking place until 24:00 UTC Friday.

Compared to last week's payout of 172.67803 LTC, this week's payout of 153.40913 LTC was a drop of about 11%.

This week's payout of 153.40913 LTC is close to what we were receiving on Nov. 16th (152.83724 LTC), the week prior to the 6th FREE share multiplication.

It shows that Litecoin Network Difficulty is quickly rising and payouts are quickly decreasing.

Litecoin Difficulty Increase Accelerating Rapidly in Nov. 2014

LTCGear Payout November 28th 2014

Litecoin difficulty has been steadily increasing, but the increase in difficulty has been especially prominently in November 2014.

If you look at the Litecoin Difficulty chart provided by bitcoinwisdom.com, you can see that difficulty increase between March through May was milder than the difficulty increase from mid May through late October, and the current difficulty trend we have been seeing in November has been the sharpest in the past 9 months.

Looking at this chart, it looks like the rate of Difficulty increase is getting faster and faster, and obtaining Litecoins is becoming more and more difficulty by the day (which we see as a good sign of adoption of Litecoins by miners and mining companies, which will hopefully be followed by greater commercial adoption).

TOTAL LTCGear Payouts Now at 2,391 LTC in 14 Weeks and 2 Days

It's been 14 weeks and 2 days since we purchased our cloud mining contracts at LTCGear.

Our TOTAL payouts from LTCGear are now at approximately 2,391 LTC.  Using the current exchange rate of 1LTC=$3.55 at the time of this writing, our TOTAL payouts are at $8,488.

We purchased our original 640 MH/s (which has been upgraded to 1,080 MH/s after 2 FREE share multiplications provided by LTCGear) for $3,688 back in August, so our accumulated payouts of $8,488 translates to a return of about 230% in 3.5 months.

Our returns are even better in LTC.  Had we purchased Litecoins instead of choosing to cloud mine at LTCGear in August, we would have had 734 LTC.

Today, by choosing to cloud mine at LTCGear, we have 2,391 LTC, which is 1,675 LTC more than what we would have had by just buying and holding on to our Litecoins.

2,391 LTC translates to a return of 326% (in Litecoins) in 3.5 months of cloud mining at LTCGear.

We're happy about these results, and LTCGear is the by far best performing scrypt cloud mining service we have tried.

The only competitor in terms of ROI is GAW Miners's Zen Hashlets and Hashlet Primes which could outperform LTCGear depending on whether Paycoin's ICO goes as planned, at 1 Paycoin =$20 or not.

NOTE : 'ASIC Share 1K6X - Anniversary' (above product, which we purchased) is no longer available at LTCGear.

The good news is newer products have been introduced, which are better than 'ASIC Share 1K6X - Anniversary' in terms of price per MH/s.

The price per MH/s for 'ASIC Share 1K6X - Anniversary' was $5.76/MH/s for us, but the products below, which are available at LTCGear today (despite frequent 'Out of stock' messages, they do get restocked), offer much better prices in terms of MH/s:

1.  'ASIC Share 1K83 - Special' : $839, 182.5 MH/s, $4.60/MH/s

2.  'ASIC Share 15K0 - Black Friday "Mega" Pack' : $4,805, 1,500 MH/s, $3.20/MH/s ($3.20333/MH/s)

3.  'ASIC Share 40K0 - Black Friday "Mega" Pack' : $12,799, 4,000 MH/s, $3.20/MH/s ($3.19975/MH/s)

LTCGear Payout November 28th 2014

If you are on a limited budget, 'ASIC Share 1K83 - Special' which retails for $839 would be our recommendation.  This is the product we were trying to purchase yesterday during the Black Friday sale yesterday, although all the coupons were used by the time we got there and we couldn't grab one in the end (all the coupons went out quite fast, literally, in minutes!).

If your budget is larger or if you are looking for the best price per MH/s, then 'ASIC Share 15K0 - Black Friday "Mega" Pack' at $4,805 or 'ASIC Share 40K0 - Black Friday "Mega" Pack' at $12,799 should be your choice.  The only real difference between the '15K0' and '40K0' is the total amount of hash power, and the price per MH/s is pretty much the same for both products.

These products may be 'Out of Stock' at LTCGear, but if you check in a few times a week, they will most likely be back in stock (inventory comes and goes; pattern is erratic, but the above 3 products are restocked quite frequently.).

Contract Length – 1-Year (although 2nd year costs will only be 5-20% of 1st year costs, to cover for electricity and hosting costs)

Payout Frequency – Every Friday (usually between 20:00 - 24:00 UTC, with occasional delays)

Amount Purchased – $3,688 (approx. 733.9157429703 LTC @ 1LTC=$5.0251 at the time)

Time Purchased – August 21st, 2014

Weekly Payouts (LTC) on Nov. 28th, 2014 −  153.40913 LTC (20.90% weekly ROI (LTC))

TOTAL Payouts (LTC) as of Nov. 28th, 2014 –2,391 LTC

TOTAL Payouts (USD) as of Nov. 28th, 2014 – $8,488 (@ 1LTC=$3.55 on BTC-e.com)
